Her July 2020 article in Choice shows how a woman leader overcame the two-tiered organizational culture and invisible glass ceiling: “An Uneven Playing Field: How a Company Culture Creates a Two-Tiered System for Women Leaders”. These articles illustrate how Valerie’s coaches leaders in complex organizational situations.

Valerie is also certified in premium assessment tools and 360s to create client awareness: MBTI, Hogan, DISC, and Lominger Voices 360.
Valerie also provides training on Executive Presence and effective Communication.

Her 5 Step Coaching Engagement Model has been successful for over 10 years.
• Step 1 – Coaching process introduction; confidentiality; coaching goals and (assessment tools chosen if part of the coaching engagement)
• Step 2 – Coaching Plan is agreed upon and “feedback” meetings set-up; use of SMART goals for the coaching plan
• Step 3 – Coaching begins and feedback meetings
• Step 4 – Feedback meetings and review at the Coaching Plan; coaching continues
• Step 5 – Good endings of the coaching; feedback and review of the coaching process and engagement

She also is an Assessor for UT Dallas Coaching program and Mentor Coach working with ACC and PCC clients to help them achieve success as coaches
