Creative Life, Career and Business Coach * “My potential is calling and I must grow!” * Kaptivate, LLCKate developed her path as a creative life, career and business coach after jumping off the Fortune 500 career ladder. A former communications director, she earned her undergraduate degree in communications from Santa Clara University and an MBA from the University of Denver, supplemented by innovation-focused courses from IDEO and other institutes.

She knows first-hand the transformation possible from doing deep awareness work and experimenting with new perspectives and possibilities. At age 30, despite success in the corporate world and as a consultant, Kate found herself unfulfilled by her work. Through guided reflection and creative actions, she discovered her own calling as a coach and began to thrive again.

ICF Certified and a graduate of the MentorCoach Training Program, Kate is known for integrating her diverse background in art, business, communications and human-centered design into a one-of-a-kind positive-psychology-based coaching program helping clients unpack and reimagine their present and future for a sparkling new perspective and path forward.

Kate finds flow through arts and crafts, and practicing mindfulness with the help of long walks with her adorable labradoodle. She also delights in reading or incubating new ideas around the campfire after a long day rambling through the Colorado wilderness.
