My coaching style is open and authentic, with an emphasis on being compassionately direct. I believe it imperative to balance practical, inspiring, and effective coaching with one who is willing to challenge and push for excellence.

Prior to becoming a professional coach, I spent 20+ years in the corporate world leading teams for performance. During my tenure as the CHRO for Ecova, Julie led the people function for multiple merger and acquisition integrations. Through this experience, I developed an organizational design and planning approach that has been used successfully with multiple clients. With executive-level experience, I consult on organizational design, talent management, and employee engagement programs that align with my client’s mission, purpose, values, and culture.

I received a bachelor’s degree in business from Portland State University and believe in giving back. I volunteer on the Board of Directors as the Vice President for Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest. I love to travel and experience cultures through food, art, and music. I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest husband where we relish our outdoor experiences.
