Working Shoulder to Shoulder – Coach to Leaders – Mentor Coach and Accredited Coach Supervisor for Coaches Michelle grew up in the prairies, a place where the expansive skyline helped to shape her sense of possibility. She translates this into how she coaches leaders, and mentors and supervises coaches. Michelle has the wonderful opportunity to work in urban, rural and northern Canada including the Northwest Territories, Cape Breton Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Alberta. Her avid love of nature and physical activity leads her to venture year round into the backcountry of the Canadian Rockies. She actively pursues ongoing learning and artistic endeavors. Michelle is an alumna of University of Calgary, University of Regina, Alberta College of Art, Banff School of Fine Arts, Mount Royal College, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, Royal Roads University and Coaching Supervision Academy. She is a published author, an artist and a photographer and she is dedicated to her family and her three Chocolate Labrador Retrievers.

Michelle believes each person has significant contributions to make and that it is crucial to cultivate our unique strengths and engage them in the many facets of life, both professionally and personally. She embraces change and is an experienced change agent. By leveraging strong results in change initiatives, Michelle has supported organizational development in all sectors. She has worked as a leader, presenter, university instructor, mentor, supervisor, facilitator and executive coach for individuals of all ages and in all stages of life.

Michelle received her PhD in curriculum, teaching and learning from the University of Calgary. She graduated with her certificate in Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University and is also a certified Retirement Options Coach. Michelle has been the recipient of a Province of Alberta Graduate Fellowship, and Alberta Education’s Excellence in Teaching Award. The Alberta Teachers’ Association has also honored her for exemplary work in teaching and learning.

Rate: $250-499 per hour
