My coaching approach is a continuous focus on co-creating the relationship with the client in the service of the client and his/her objectives. Our relationship is key as it serves as the learning instrument through which the client will achieve his objectives. And the act of co-creating is a shared responsibility.

My coaching style and approach is based on three adult learning theories: the social-cognitive theory of Bandura, the dimensions affecting learning of Riener and Willingham and the andragogy of Malcolm Knowles.

I have an empathic and a supportive approach but I do hold my clients accountable for their part in the journey. When I consider the relationship strong enough I will deliver challenging feedback with the goal to support the client to achieve his objectives.

My presence is Gestalt informed and my work is experiential-based so besides talking we also engage in exercises in order to raise awareness. Awareness of how my client is blocking himself or awareness about newly found possibilities.
