I graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science degree (Health Education, Secondary). My background includes significant experience in human resources and employment law. I have held senior leadership positions as director of human resources, director of professional development, and chief talent officer. In addition to my executive coaching practice, I provide human resources consulting services across various industries, including healthcare, tech, and legal.

I have completed 300 hours of coach training (at Georgetown University and through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC)) and I am ICF-certified at the PCC level.

I have trained lawyers (in group settings and one-on-one) in the following areas: communication skills, executive presence, developing and mentoring others, managing teams, leadership skills for new professionals, client service skills, time management and productivity, building confidence and overcoming imposter syndrome, delivering effective feedback (including during performance reviews), managing sensitive and difficult conversations, managing interpersonal conflict, and the art of building, deepening, and maintaining relationships.

My sweet spot, and greatest passion, is working with high-potential leaders, including newly-promoted leaders and those who are being groomed to step into leadership positions in their organizations.

I have been a regular speaker at Professional Development Consortium and National Association of Law Placement (NALP) conferences on a broad range of topics related to professional excellence.

I am well-versed and certified to use the DiSC, EQ-i 2.0 (emotional intelligence), and Hogan assessments in my coaching.
