I specialize in coaching unicorns, oddballs and “onlys” because I’m one, too. Descended from a long line of weirdos and creatives, I’m both artist and scientist, and a big picture thinker with an eye for detail. My four innate superpowers are insight, empathy, humor, and problem solving – all of which I bring to coaching. Our work has led to client successes including profound personal growth, greater confidence, reduced stress, more effective decision making, improved team relationships and productivity, and “leading the way [they] always imagined.”

I am a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), ICF Mentor Coach, and Certified Facilitator of The Resilience Toolkit (Level II), a trauma-informed somatic modality. I’m a native of Los Angeles and Spanish speaker and hold degrees from UCLA and the University of New Mexico.
My first career was in diversity, equity, inclusion (DEI), and leadership development, where I spent nearly 30 years garnering meaningful results for employers and clients across the U.S. and abroad in nonprofit, corporate, healthcare, education, and government. I’ve been a committed anti-racist, queer ally, and social justice activist most of my life.

I also held a university position in Guadalajara, Mexico, and was the co-founder and first Manager of DEI for University of New Mexico Hospitals. For twenty years, I was the President of Susana Rinderle Consulting, LLC, and I’m a former Principal Consultant for Korn Ferry. I’m a TEDx speaker, and my writing has appeared in multiple commercial magazines, academic journals, and poetry anthologies.

Outside of work I feel most alive hiking in wild places, watching sci fi, dancing hip hop, singing soulful music, bellylaughing, and savoring meaningful conversation over incredible food. I’m a former top tier slam poet (New Mexico), boxer, and medal-winning runner who once did standup comedy in Hollywood!
